Cowabunga Dude! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles First UK Trailer Arrives!

‘Heroes Aren’t born, they are created!’ Cowbunga Dudes!Those Heroes In a half shell Are returning to the big screens this summer  enjoy the First UK trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has arrived! Turtle Powerrrrr!!!

With one 1980’s Kids TV show/ Toy franchise under his belt it’s no suprise that Michael Bay is involved in another though this time only as producer but in this 90 second teaser its brim full of his trademark stylings. The film has been shrouded in criticism for suggestions that the characters origins will be altered as well as the choice of Megan Fox as April O’Neill has angered the fan base.

Directed by Jonathan Leibsman (Battle Los Angeles) Teenage Ninja Turtles  we meet Raphael (Alan Ritchson), Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), Donatello (Jeremy Howard) and Leonardo (Pete Ploszek) . 4 outcast brothers he climb from their Sewer  to fulfill their destiny and join tv reporter April O’Neill (Fox) to prevent Shredder (William Fichtner) unraveling his evil plan.

These feisty green amphibian dudes know how to kick ass as ever they do it in style, whilst fans of the original know this foursome love their pizzas and cheesy humour which is not really on show here. The earlier suggestion that origins will be changed  we can’t really tell at this moment as what we get is really to show off their silky ninja powers and that Michael Bay has went CGI big style once again!

Oddball of a cast which also includes Whoopie Goldberg which has a picture of her looking like a stand in for Bo Selecta’s Mel B with black cellotaped eyebrows, mmm! Will Arnett also stars with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arriving in UK on 17th October (8th August in USA).

Synopsis

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
