Citizens of Themyscira your warrior Princess Diana is here! After her debut on the big screens in the much troubled Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Wonder Woman now has her first UK trailer! We maybe thousands of miles the other side of the Atlantic but those good folks at Warner Bros. UK don’t want us to miss out on the fun happening in San Diego Comic-Con.
Her introduction might have been bumpy now D.C are giving their greatest female warrior her own movie and boys, this is one girl who can handle herself probably better than you!
Wonder Woman is released in cinemas around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
No more fighting for your rights in her Satin tights, Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince modernised and we can say the world is ready for her and the wonders she can do!Ironically her first trailer is launched the year the American and British armies in the real world will let Female soldiers fight on the front line. Will she be a role model for young woman? Yes and older fangirls too as Wonder Woman has been around since 1941, however boys as the trailer shows, plenty of action to please the fanboys too.
The action does look octane, in your face, her Lasso teases us too. Zack Snyder is involved on the story side but looks like the dark tone that some critics said ruined BvS not there. It’s early days but it has alot of heart and plenty of cheesy humour that give this one a fighting chance.
Miss the Lynda Carter 1970’s TV Wonder Woman? Here’s a little treat just for you…
Joining Gadot in the cast are Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui.
Wonder Woman is coming to UK&Irish Shores 2nd June 2017.
