New Clip For Alexander Payne’s THE DESCENDANTS

Aloha! Alexander Payne’s The Descendants is finally out in UK & Irish cinemas TODAY. The wait for this film to arrive at The Peoples Movies HQ has been unbelievable only to be intensified with the past few weeks the film picking up awards as well as numerous nominations world.To celebrate this Academy Award nominated film’s release today Fox Searchlight have sent us over a new clip called “I have gotten my act together”, Im hoping to watch the film over the weekend please and if I do Ill try get a review online shortly after.

From Alexander Payne, the creator of the Oscar-winning SIDEWAYS, set in Hawaii, THE DESCENDANTS is a sometimes humorous, sometimes tragic journey for Matt King (George Clooney) an indifferent husband and father of two girls, who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki. The event leads to a rapprochement with his young daughters while Matt wrestles with a decision to sell the family’s land handed down from Hawaiian royalty and missionaries.

THE DESCENDANTS opens in UK &Ireland on Today (January 27th)and stars George Clooney, Shailene Woodley,Judy Greer​​, Matthew Lillard​​, Beau Bridges​​, and Robert Forster​​.
