If you were a kid in the 1980’s this cult action thriller series was essential viewing. Today the Horror Channel announce later this month Airwolf will take-off in the sci-fi zone.
From Season 1 of the 1984 US military drama series which was created by Donald P. Bellisario and produced over four seasons. Will continue the channel’s current trend of bringing back some of television’s finest cult shows along side the films.
Running from 1984 until 1987, the main cast for the first three seasons also included Jan– Ernest Borgnine, and Alex Cord, with Jean Bruce Scott added as a regular in seasons two and three. David Hemmings plays a supporting role as Airwolf’s psychopathic designer, who wants control of the craft for his own evil ends.

A renegade helicopter pilot, Stringfellow Hawke, played by Jan-Michael Vincent, is given the chance to know the whereabouts of his imprisoned brother if he conducts daring missions for a shadowy intelligence agency. Hid first mission is to go to Libya and steal back a high-technology military helicopter, code-named Airwolf, at all costs. With its riveting, high-tech, battle scenes, AIRWOLF is considered one of the best military shows in television history.
Airwolf will premiere on Horror from Thursday 24th November and will air from 6pm everyday.
