Clash of the Titans – 2nd Trailer
Share
Here is the second trailer for Clash of the titans 2010 remake.I believe this was to show as one of the trailers to be shown before Avatar in USA (maybe UK) too but I watched The Box last Sunday afternoon and a trailer was shown then.
The original version is very close to my heart as its the first memory I have as a kid going to the cinema and every time the movie is on TV I watch it religously. The first trailer I admit was a little critical but more I watched the trailer and then with watching it on the big screen and now this I have to say it looks great stuff!Yes its really an extension of trailer one but now we get a little more dialogue, action and even a sneek peek at the Kraken!!! I wonder if they’ll have the little golden owl in it?
I am becoming more impressed as you get a chance to see more and one of my golden rules in remaking or rebooting a classic movie you have to respect the original and pay a little homage to it and I think French director Louis Leterrier has so far done a good job. If you do get a chance to see the original watch it, yep it doesnt have the CGI special effects of todays movies but you will be treated to clay/stop animation effects from the legend who is called Ray Harryhusen.
Clash of the Titans stars Sam Worthington (Terminator Salvation, Avatar) as Perseus, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Feinnes as Hades, Gemma Arterton (lo), Danny Huston (Poseiden),Alexa Davalos (Andromeda), Jason Flemying (Acrisius) and Mads Mikkelson (Draco). Out in UK,Ireland and USA on March 26th 2010.

I watched the original as a kid and remember being mesmerized. It was just magical. Hopefully technology will improve, alas Im not a kid anymore to be amazed and inspired by this ancient story, but hopefully CGI will cover for that. Kids of today have got is so good visually on the screen, lets hope the script matches.
me too didoman, clash of the titans was my first memory of watching a movie at a cinema as a kid. I first was a little concerned a part of my childhood was going to be ruined but now its growing on me cant wait until march!
