The Garfield Movie will be in UK cinemas later this month and Chris Prat is ‘Feel-line’ so excited for it! Today, Moments Worth Paying For presents a spurr-cial message from the actor…

The industry Trust latestย promoย released ahead of the family-fun adventure. A message to remind everyone, the only ‘legal’ way to enjoy The Garfield Movie is on the big screen and supporting your local cinema!

Liz Bales, Chief Executive at British Association for Screen Entertainment backed that comment up… โ€œIt is great to welcome back Hollywood actor Chris Pratt to deliver our Moments Worth Paying For message, promoting the big screen as the best place to watch films first and driving engagement for local cinemas across the UK and Ireland. With the next Moments trailer a family feature, this campaign highlights the role of cinema as a first touchpoint for entertainment, introducing a younger audience to the big-screen experience, and building a love of cinema from a young age. Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagne-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father โ€“ scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) โ€“ Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.

The rest of the voice cast includesย Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang, andย Ving Rhames. Directed byย The Emperorโ€™s New Grooveย directorย Mark Dindal.

The Garfield Movie will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 24th May.
