Breaking news! Gentleman it’s time to choose your protection and watch another legendary UK trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues as Channel 4 news team provide more belly laughs than your underwear can handle!
Like any great malt the taste get better when your older Anchorman 2 most off all Ron himself (Will Ferrell) like his potent potable and this new trailer provides the non-pc comic debauchery only Ron can provide. Whilst they provide the laughs the teams inability to understand the meanings and mechanics behind condoms and homosexuality you wonder if any of these gags will be in the film even if they funnier than those in the previous trailer! At least we have an inkling the Anchorman sequel may not be hit by the ‘poor sequel syndrome’ as the joke sound original, fresh and just right for the Channel 4 news team. Now can someone explain in simple terms to Brick about green screens?!
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues it’s kind of a big deal, Don’t stop believing folks Ron Burgundy will be returning to deliver the news on 20th December in UK. He’ll bring a few friends including Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner , Christina Applegate , James Marsden, Harrison Ford and a possible host of cameo’s!
Whilst the above provide UK fans with 2 minutes of Anchorman wholesomeness a slightly longer American version of the trailer has been released too with even more footage! If you can’t handle the pressure of the wait why not head to your local Ben& Jerry’s stockist and pick up your Anchorman inspired ice-cream. Flavours like Butterscotch or in Ron’s immortal words “I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly.” The “butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl” not Scotch as Ron desires but here in the UK we have to wait a little longer than out American friends but I’m sure it wont be that long as the film is released both sides of the Atlantic the same day.
Synopsis
With the 70′s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
