Whilst he does his producing duties with Man Of Steel and future release Transcendence for Wally Pfister, Christopher Nolan’s next directorial gig Interstellar  is forming an impressive looking cast. Matthew McConaughey will lead with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Bill Irwin will support and now according to NolanFans we have learned that the film’s talent pool has just increased with the addition of Casey Affleck.

In an interview with  Elle Magazine at a screening for his next film Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (with Rooney Mara)he revealed to the magazine his involvement in a ‘Christopher Nolan’  film along with Out Of The Furnance : “I’ve got a movie coming out at Thanksgiving called ‘Out Of The Furnace,’ and I’m going to work on a Chris Nolan movie in the fall.”

There’s no Doubt Interstellar is Nolan’s next directing film and not a film several years down the line and that would be premature as Nolan only seems to take one film at a time compared to actors who have a few films. Affleck will be a fabulous addition to Interstellar and he’s no stranger to big studio films however he has stayed away from Tentpole films with exception of Ocean’s Eleven franchise.

Interstellar is inspired by the theories of physicist Kip Thorne, centering “a heroic Interstellar voyage to the furthest borders of our scientific understanding,” and travelers who travel through an wormhole.

We don’t much more about Interstellar and the basic synopsis does say not a lot will happen but Christopher Nolan is currently re-writing the script with his brother Jonathan to make sure something dynamic will go on. With Hans Zimmer onboard for the score along with  Hoyte Van Hotyema (Let the Right One In)  providing the cinematography Interstellar  looks an formidable film to look forward too when it’s released in November 2014.
