California Crumbles In New Destructive Trailer For San Andreas

He maybe the most electricfying man in sports entertainment but not even Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson can save the millions of his fans from the earthquake that destroy’s them in new San Andreas UK Trailer.

California crumbles at the feet of the great one like bunch of fruity pebbles but can he save his only thing so precious to him, his daughter?

The conspiracy theorists have been saying this will be the year (and probably every year) the world will collapse America will be first in this film they will get their wish.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter. But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.

It’s been a hell of a long time since we had a true epic disaster movie which the culprit is of nature not Alien and director Brad Peyton certainly not shying away from OTT Spectacle. You could say this is homage to the disaster movies of the 1970’s which Charlton Heston, George Kennedy used to star in, like 1974 Earthquake film.

San Andreas stars Paul Giamatti, Carla Guigino, Alexandria Daddario, Ion Gruffudd and yes also Kylie Minogue! The film arrives in UK, Ireland and USA on 29th May.
