Building Nostalgic Blocks In New Trailer For Lego:The Movie

lego-the-movie

If there’s any toy in the world that will deliver a nostalgia  to virtually all generations of a family  the accolade must go to Lego and 2014 the film will join the ranks of many other toys so now enjoy trailer 2 of Lego: The Movie.

It was only a matter of time before the world’s most famous ‘construction’ toys made their big screen debut and early next year that day will come for our u shaped hand friends. So many characters but who will in the movie? As you’ll see from the new trailer it teases much like the first trailer and like many other films that can appeal a cross age :the jokes, the references only Lego could get away with. You could say directors  Phil Lord and Chris Miller who directed Cloudy Chance Of Meatballs 1&2 might try a similar route with this one but maybe not as surreal and if they pull off a similar feat Lego:The Movie may not sound as much of a ridiculous idea after all.

After the the new trailer we have a set of very short character teasers from none other than the dark knight himself Batman(Will Arnett), who seems to be getting a little peed with Superman(Channing Tatum). The President (Will Ferrell) wondering if your hungry as he invites you to ‘Taco Tuesday! Metalbeard (Nick Offerman) has some issues but maybe Wildstyle (Elizabeth Banks) will save him as well as us but last of all lets meet our hero Emmett (Chris Pratt)….

The pre-trailer 2 character teasers

Synopsis

The LEGO Movie follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Emmet (Chris Pratt) is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.

Lego The Movie also stars the voices of  Morgan Freeman, Cobbie Smulders, Liam Neeson  and Alison Brie but is it the greatest movie ever assembled or the greatest absurdity ever assembled you can make your mind up when Lego The Movie hits UK&Irish cinemas on 14th February 2014.
