'Brains' Speaks! In New TV Spot & Music Video For TRANSFORMERS DARK OF THE MOON, Is Steven Spielberg to Direct Movie 4?
Only 2 weeks to go until TRANSFORMERS DARK OF THE MOON arrives at our local cinemas until court is held to see if Michael Bay’s third instalment is worthy of praise. Has he learned the lessons of Revenge of The Fallen? Will he keep to his words, June 29th is when we’ll find out. Another new tv spot has arrived online and has the sexually oppressed robot Brains as the main focus and you’ll even here him praise bumblebee below that is a music video for the movie a song by Linkin Park called ‘Iriedescent’ which includes new footage from the movie.
Before the movie has even touched a cinema some websources are talking about movie 4. Movie 4 probably will depend on the success of Dark of The Moon and if it happens we know Michael Bay wont direct it and Shia LaBeouf wont return to play Sam, the logical move for film studios is to take the reboot route. In a interview with Movieweb , Tyreese Gibson who plays Robert Epps revealed that exacutive producer Steven Spielberg could possibly direct the 4th movie:
“Michael Bay decides to not come back for ‘Transformers 4,’ there is always Steven Spielberg,” said the actor. “I am not saying that Steven Spielberg is for a fact going to direct ‘Transformers 4.’ But it is a beautiful safety net to know that one of the biggest, most respected directors in the world happens to be an executive producer on ‘Transformers.’ He is someone who knows this world. And he could easily step in and direct ‘Transformers 4’ if he decided to.”
He further said:
“There are a lot of directors whodealwith producers who happen to not be Steven Spielberg. So if the director decides to bow out of their film, they are sent scrambling. ‘Who can we get to direct this?’ What a hell of a safety net this is if Michael Bay decides not to come back. Steven Spielberg could easily step in and make it happen.”
This sounds like The Hobbit again, could pressure from Paramount or even a struggle to find a suitable replacement see Michael Bay return, will it be reboot or a continuation from Dark of The Moon? Paramount Picture made under $1.5billion from this franchise and there’s no way they will end this franchise.
Transformers Dark Of The Moon stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey, Ken Jeong, John Turturro, Frances McDormand, Peter Cullen and Tyrese Gibson.
