blinkbox Now Delivering The Best Entertainment from Disney To Customers, With Many Titles Launching The Same Day as DVD
New programming deal brings extensive family entertainment from Disney to the UK’s leading online movie service*
blinkbox, the UK’s leading online movie service, has signed a deal with Disney UK & Ireland to offer its customers access to a selection of world-class family entertainment. Film and TV fans will be able to buy or rent the latest titles, many on the very same day they are released on DVD, instantly on their PC, Mac, Smart TVs, games consoles and tablet devices without subscription.
The deal means that some movies, such as War Horse, from DreamWorks Films, and Disney’s The Muppets, will be available to buy or rent on blinkbox the same day as they are released on DVD. Disney Pixar’s Toy Story, plus Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins are also available to buy. blinkbox customers can also buy top TV dramas like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy and Brothers & Sisters, produced by Disney’s US network TV production arm, ABC Studios.
