Ichigo returns from Hueco Mundo at last to battle Aizen. But in the face of Aizen’s overwhelming power, Ichigo begins to lose his will to fight. The Thirteen Court Guard Squads are there to support him, and along with the Visoreds, they launch a full-scale attack. Even Head Captain Genryusai Yamamoto joins the fight, attempting to incinerate Aizen in a blazing inferno. But is anything enough to stop the Soul Society’s ultimate foe?

Carrying straight on from where we left off in Series 13 part 2, we see the epic battles of Soul Reapers, Visoreds, and Ichigo facing off against Aizen and Gin. However, with everyone wanting a piece of Aizen Ichigo has to wait in line.

We get a few surprises thrown in, and even a new arrival.

Wonderweiss returns as part of Aizen’s plan to fight off against head captain Yamamoto.

With Aizen’s power of total hypnosis, it leaves us wondering, ‘what is really true?’ Ichigo being the only one free from Aizen’s hypnosis, he sees what is truly there, but there is a huge difference in skill, that surpasses even Ichigo’s skills.

The fights are nail biting and tense forcing you to watch episode after episode.

There were a couple of filler episodes thrown in, as is with Bleach, you can’t go a so long without a bit of filler to break it up.
In one of the fillers they hold the first International Seireitei Film Festival where squads make amateur films in order to raise funds for the reparations of the Seireitei after all the battles and skirmishes.
In another filler episode we get to witness what happens in the Soul Society during New Years eve. At the end of the filler in the previews we see a halloween filler episode coming at the start of Part 2.

Overall it was very good, it had me dying to see more and more, but the battle with Aizen seems to be far from over.
