What Is A Blade Runner? New Blade Runner 2049 Featurette Asks That Question

Do you know for all those years no one has really asked what a Blade Runner truly is? We assume we know but when you look back all we can remember was “Is Deckard a Replicant?” In less than 2 weeks the 35 year wait for a sequel Blade Runner 2049 will be over. Today Sony Pictures have sent us a new featurette that tries to answer that question.

For decades many fans wanted to know if Deckard was a Replicant, this sequel arrives with teases of that question is going to be answered. This will excite fans, younger cinephiles may not have seen the original might be wondering what all the fuss is about.This promo tries it’s best to ease the confusion whilst revealing some new footage too!

In Blade Runner 2049 we find ourselves Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 will be released in the UK and Ireland 5th October. Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, Barkhad Abdi, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Lennie James, and Mackenzie Davis.
