BFI Set To Release British Comedy All My Friends Hate Me In UK

The BFI have announced they are set to release comedy horror All My Friends Hate me in UK and Irish cinemas this Summer.

The film is directed by Andrew Gaynord in his feature debut A film described as a deliciously dark comedy about social paranoia leading cast member Tom Stourton (Lovesick, About Time, Siblings).

The film made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last year to critical acclaim, it had its UK premiere at the 2021 BFI London Film Festival. Stourton plays Pete who is excited to reunite with old University friends for a birthday weekend. What first starts as a celebration, one by one friends turn against him, is it a sick joke or is he being punished?

The BFI haven’t yet released a Trailer, below is a Trailer for the U.S promotion…

Pete (Tom Stourton) is ready to leave his youthful indulgences behind and settle down with his girlfriend, Sonia (Charly Clive). When his uni friends invite him for a country weekend away, he finds their immature ways haven’t changed. And he’s baffled by their spontaneous invitation to a feral stranger from the local pub to join them. With the atmosphere turning from tense to terrifying to surreal, Pete reaches breaking point. Is he being paranoid, or is he just part of some sick joke?

The ensemble cast features rising British talent, which includes BAFTA TV Award winner Georgina Campbell  and BAFTA TV Award nominee Dustin Demri-Burns alongside Joshua McGuire , Antonia Clarke , Charly Clive , Graham Dickson and Kieran Hodgson,  plus the film, stage and TV actor Christopher Fairbank.

The film is produced and written by Tom Palmer for Totally Tom Films and Ravanburn Films. Executive producer is Jon Plowman O.B.E (The Office, Absolutely Fabulous).

My Friends All Hate Me will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 10th June.
