‘Becoming a Kingsman’ – new Kingsman: The Secret Service clip
Kingsman: The Secret Service is only a few days from release now, and has been receiving positive review from a number of critics, including our own Chris Banks – Kingsman: The Secret Service review – who gave the film 4 stars. As momentum is building around the film, 20th Century Fox have sent us a new clip in order to further whet your appetite.
The film is based upon the acclaimed comic book by Mark Millar, and is directed by Matthew Vaughn, and written by Jane Goldman, reflecting the previous big-screen incarnation of Millar’s work, Kick-Ass. Based around a super-secret spy organisation, that decides to recruit some young blood. The gentlemanly agent Harry Hart (Colin firth) sees potential in the unrefined Eggsy (Taron Egerton), who instead of having a public school upbringing like the other Kingsmen agents, was brought up on a council estate.
The following clip shows Harry trying to explain through films, how Eggsy’s differences could make him a better agent. Referencing films such as Trading Places and Pretty Woman, until finally Eggsy finds one that he recognises.
Kingsman: The Secret Service also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Caine and is released in UK cinemas on 29th January.
