After this year’s success of Jon Favreau‘s The Jungle Book the question many fans are asking Disney “What’s the next Classic Walt Disney film ready for live action adaptation?” We’ve known for a while It’s Beauty And The Beast and May Disney announced to the world with a short teaser trailer. The film may not be out until 2017, today the tale as old as time continue’s with enchanting poster which has iconic imagery that will be immediately recognizable by fans of the original animated film.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. Beauty and the Beast is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
You could say it’s just a little early but as Summer passes, Autumn draws in, we’re sure Disney will unveil the start of the film’s main promotion.At this stage it’s all a big tease and while we’ve had an glimpse of Belle (Emma Watson) we’re eager to see the other characters especially the Beast (Dan Stevens). Going by the films Disney have already adapted for live action they won’t let us down!
