Beautiful 1st trailer for Lars Von Trier's MELANCHOLIA

He said no more happy endings and you probably laughed at that as Lars Von Trier’s ‘happy ending’ is probably the exact opposite of your version and the first non-happy ending movie was to start with MELANCHOLIA. Zoetropa Films in association with Artifical Eye have released the first offical trailer for MELANCHOLIA which will be out in UK on July 1st.

“Life is only on Earth… and not for long.” a beautiful movie for the end of the world as the movie’s offical website protrays the movie, you wonder ask yourself what would you do in the last days of the end of the world? would run about crazy fleeing to place you think will save you when you deep down know the world is ending? Or would you enjoy the final moments with people or in a place you love? Melancholia centres around the descruction of our little planet but mostly the wedding and its guests, what a guest (cast)list Kirsten Dunst, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Kiefer Sutherland, Alexander Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, John Hurt, Stellan Skarsgård, Udo Kier and Jesper Christensen.

The movie will make its world premiere as usual for Von Trier movie at Cannes Film Festival next month and later that month Magnolia Pictures will release it in North America then Artifical Eye in July for UK & Ireland.
