Be Careful In What You Wish For In ‘Wish’ Second Trailer
HOW DID THE WISHING STAR, UPON WHICH SO MANY CHARACTERS WISHED, COME TO BE? -- Walt Disney Animation Studios’ original fairytale adventure “Wish” is an all-new story is set in the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, an optimist with a sharp wit and a deep caring for her community, turns to the sky in a moment of need, and makes a wish. Asha’s plea is answered by a cosmic force, a little ball of boundless energy, Star. Together, they will face the most formidable of foes to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars – wondrous things can happen. The voice cast includes Ariana DeBose as Asha and Alan Tudyk as the pajama-wearing goat, Valentino. Featuring original songs by Julia Michaels, “Wish” is helmed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, and produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes. The feature film releases Fall 2023.
Be careful for what you wish for as Disney release the second UK Trailer for the animated adventure ‘Wish‘, which stars the voices of Ariana DeBose and Chris Pine. How can a ‘Kingdom of wishes‘ be called this when it doesn’t grant them?
This second trailer gives us a better look at the magical kingdom of Rosas. King Magnifico (Pine) rules and Asha (DeBose) is one of the king’s apprentices, which she learns about what the king is not doing pushing her to go on the run.
Next to DeBose, Pine and Alan Tudyk as Asha’s goat, Valentino., the rest of the voice cast has been announced. That cast includes Angelique Cabral as Queen Amaya, Victor Garber as Sabino, Natasha Rothwell as Asha’s mom Sakina. Also Jennifer Kumiyama as Asha’s dearest friend, Dahlia, who’s an accomplished baker and unofficial leader of their group. Evan Peters as the strong guy with a big heart and bigger yawn, Simon and Harvey Guillén as Gabo, who may be cynical, but he has a heart of gold. Ramy Youseff as Safi, who’s plagued by allergies, Niko Vargas as Asha’s joyful, always smiling buddy, Hal. Della Saba as the seemingly shy teenager, Bazeema, who’s full of surprises, and Jon Rudnitsky as Asha’s rosy-cheeked, wiggly-eared pal, Dario.
This is from the team that gave us Frozen which has been a solid cash cow for Disney, giving this one hope…
