Bachelorette’s Get ‘Criminally’ Insane In Rough Night UK Trailer

Scarlett Johansson may know how to handle the Boys in the superhero world and Kate McKinnon might be a dab hand at capturing ghosts, but can party like they just don’t care? In the first International (UK) Trailer for Rough Night a reunion of friends that girls can be criminally insane, turning the best weekend of their lives into the Bachelorette party from hell! Check out the trailer…

Astonishingly it’s 6 years since Bridesmaids was on our big screens that proved the girls could match the boys in sub-genre that’s been dominated by men for a long time. Many wannabes have come and collapsed like a drunk on a Friday night attempting to devour a kebab. So are we looking at the long awaited successor to Paul Feig’s classic comedy? Checklist: Drugs, booze, fruity language, dead strippers, police, 5 Friends, ‘R’ Rating, potential to succeed strong!

In Rough Night, an edgy R-rated comedy, five best friends from college (played by Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Zoƫ Kravitz) reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper. Amidst the craziness of trying to figure out what to do, their night takes some hilariously unexpected turns, ultimately bringing them closer together when it matters most.

It looks to kick off the traditional formula and when the girls start to play, Boom! The movie takes a drastic swing into Black comedy tropes. All thanks to a freak accident, which triggers a different kind of chaos when the girls try to decide do they cover up the death of the stripper they hired or simply own up?

We all know McKinnion’s credentials in comedy, she’s done that, been that, however, it’s new territory for Johansson. What we’re hearing we don’t have anything to worry about apart from will this movie deliver?

Rough Night is set for a 16th June UK&Irish cinema release.
