Avengers: Endgame Reigns Over The Official Film Chart For A Second Week

Avengers: Endgame lands a second huge week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart, following its record-breaking debut last week.
This week, Endgame racked up 101,700 downloads, bringing its total so far to 437,000. It remains the fastest-selling digital download film of all time, ahead of its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War and Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

Back to this week’s Official Film Chart and Hellboy and Shazam! hold on to their positions for another week at Numbers 2 and 3 respectively. It’s a surge of two places for Captain Marvel at Number 4 and Tim Burton’s Dumbo reboot drops one place to Number 5.
IT (2017) floats up 18 places to Number 6 following as fans get excited for the sequel IT Chapter Two being released in cinemas this Friday, 6 September.
Clint Eastwood’s The Mule returns to the chart at Number 7, while Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald jumps twelve to Number 8. Bohemian Rhapsody is also back in the Top 10, rising two places to Number 9.
Finally, Escape Plan 3 makes its chart debut at 10 following its release on disc. In this third instalment of the Escape Plan series, Sylvester Stallone stars as a security expert hired to rescue the daughter of a tech mogul from her kidnappers, but finds his own girlfriend captured too.
On this week’s Official Film Chart, there’s a clip from John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, starring Keanu Reeves, available to Download and Keep from September 7.
The Official Film Chart is unveiled each Wednesday and is the subject of a Top 10 Official Film Chart online show, published on OfficialCharts.com and available for media syndication.
