“Are You Listening?” Watch Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser

It’s official Stranger Things Season 4 is back in production. After many many delays in production (like everything else in this pandemic world) things are moving again and this afternoon Netflix treat us all to a cryptic new teaser trailer.
The focus all seems to be on Millie Bobby Brown‘s character Eleven. “Eleven, are you listening?” we hear a voice say, in what looks like a medical centre. That centre sees us return to Eleven’s dark past, Hawkins Laboratory and to The Rainbow Room.
That voice was Matthew Modine which means the return of Dr Brenner, or is it?
It’s been teased by Modine and other sources that Brenner would return and in the promo we see a figure walk to The Rainbow Room where kids are playing. It looks like Brenner and what special thing does he have lined up for the kids? This could merely be a flashback? Then again is the Hawkins Lab ‘back in business’? Could his mucky hands be involved in Season 3?
Off course all the kids are in hospital gowns and all have psychokinetic abilities like Eleven. The whole set up reminds us this could be something straight from the pages from Katsuhiro Otomo‘s Akira. We wouldn’t be surprised if the cult Manga come Anime inspired Stranger Things as it was made in the 1980’s!

It’s nearly 2 years since Season 3 was released on Netflix. So fans will be eager to finally see how David Harbour‘s Hopper still alive and in a Gulag. The Duffer Brothers thanks to the delays might also have all the scripts complete. Give them a chance to deliver something truly special!
The cast returning also includes Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Priah Ferguson, Maya Hawke and Winona Ryder.
