Hello Westerners! His Excellency Admiral General Aladeen demands invites you to watch the official second trailer for THE DICTATOR.
When it comes to a Sacha Baron Cohen comedy film based on a fictional character expect the unexpected and unexpected has been The Dictator’s middle name with his his recent Oscars stunt actually working for the film.I’ve never been the British actors number one fan however there’s something about his Arabic Leader character is actually amusing. Could he find himself banned from the Middle East or will those leaders he mocks have a funny bone left in them?
In this new trailer we do get alot of brand new footage, which actually goes on and reveals probably a little too much so a big *Spoiler Alert* here especially if your raring to see this film I wouldn’t watch. What the trailer does do is introduces Anna Faris character whom His Excellency believed to be a man! There is also a funny moment which makes fun of the Western stereotypical view of a Arabic man in a helicopter (the famous copter attraction ride around New York’s skyline) or any plane and he does love fireworks over the statue of Liberty!
THE DICTATOR is a story about “the heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed”. The film also stars Ben Kingsley, John C. Reilly, Anna Faris, Megan Fox, B.J. Novak, Kevin Corrigan, J.B. Smoove, Aasif Mandvi and will arrive in UK&Ireland May 18th 2012.
