Ancient Evil Unleashed In Apple TV Surfside Girls Trailer

Apple TV have shared online the official Trailer for kids adventure series, Surfside Girls. Teasing that ancient evil lurks in the sleepy town.

Based on the bestselling IDW graphic novel series of the same name by author Kim Dwinell, the live-action series follows best friends Sam and Jade (Miya Cech , YaYa Gosselin) as they solve supernatural mysteries in their sleepy California beach town. These best friends must combine their polar opposite strengths of imagination and logic in order to solve the supernatural mysteries that hide just beneath the surface of their town.

Is it us, does this have a big Goonies vibe to it? Throw in some supernatural, pirate ships and cursed treasure…Hey You Guys! This looks entertaining shows for the kids maybe a few older ‘Goonies’ fans for nostalgia.

The cast also includes Spencer Rebello, Catia Ojeda, Jacob Vargas, Adan Maverick Carcaño, and Sonita Henry. The showrunner is award winning  May Chan (“American Girl: Corinne Tan,” “The Astronauts”).

Surfside Girls will be premiering on Apple TV from 19th August.
