Anarchy hits the English countryside when something bizarre brings 3 women together. Next month British comedy Portrait Of Dangerous Women will be in cinemas, Bulldog Film Distribution release the UK Trailer.
The film stars Tara Fitzgerald with Swiss born filmmaker Pascal Bergamin directing. Portraits Of Dangerous Women centres around a strange road accident which sees 3 strangers lives change forever. As things start to fall apart around them, the three strangers start to bond together.
Bergamin commented his film especially the characters are inspired by photography collected by Peter J.Cohen – “The characters were inspired by a series of found photographs published by Peter J. Cohen, an American collector of vernacular photography. The pictures show women engaging in adventurous activities: posing with a pistol, reclining on a bullseye target or climbing a lamp-post. The photographs are humorous and sometimes eccentric. They capture a brief moment of frivolity, a glimpse of anarchy even.“.
The lives of three strangers collide in a bizarre road accident. After the initial turmoil, they decide to handle the aftermath without involving the police. The unlikely trio forge unusual alliances and as their pasts unravel, grow ever closer, unexpectedly discovering a deep sense of kinship.
This film also stars Mark Lewis Jones, Yasmin Monet Prince, Jeany Spark, Annette Badland, Abigail Cruttenden, Jospeh Marcell and Sheila Reid. Portraits Of Dangerous Women will get a limited UK and Irish cinema release from 4th October. You will probably have to check local cinema listings to find a cinema near you showing the film.
