Nearly 51 years ago the classic children’s adventure film The Railway Children was released in cinemas. 2022 the sequel based on E Nesbitt‘s novel, today Studiocanal release first Trailer for The Railway Children Return…All aboard!
The cast includes a new generation of with Sheridan Smith as Annie. With the children played by Beau Gadsdon (Lily), Eden Hamilton (Pattie), Austin Haynes (Thomas), Zac Cudby (Ted), KJ Aikens (Abe). Jenny Agutter returning as her iconic character Roberta ‘Bobbie’ Waterbury.
The film hopes to enchant new fans with a story which will see the kids evacuated to an Yorkshire Village during world war 2. That new home is with Bobbie the one time ‘Railway Child’ herself, during there time in the village they encounter a young soldier whom like them a long way from home.
