“One Pill will make you larger” but one White Rabbit will take you back to Underland as a new trailer for Alice Through The Looking Glass sees the film go Jefferson Airplane….
Alice In Wonderland may have delivered the goods at the box office surpassing $1 Billion mark at the box office but very few films have left critics divided. 5 years on that film hasn’t left as much an imprint on cinephiles now we have a new film in 3 months are you ready for a little more madness?
This time Disney are taking a more subtle route than previously with the film’s marketing with this new promo been the first trailer since November. It’s short but sweet and certainly plays on the videos song ‘White Rabbit’ originally sung by Jefferson Airplane but this time by P!nk. She says she loves ‘Quirky things’, this film is certainly that vibrant also. The one thing that annoyed many was the over usage of CGI in the first film. This one looks like it will follow suit, it’s hard to over criticise the film especially due to the film’s story, might be a tad tricky not to use the technology.
A new director James Bobin (The Muppets) has taken over with Tim Burton is producing how ever the viual styling of the film seems to be still highly influenced by Burton. Like everything we always like to give second chances to win us over. Following the music of the film we have an extra promo a Behind The Scenes featurette which the award winning singer talks about the song choice. She will also be covering an original song too!
