Divorce is ugly on all accounts especially when children are caught in the middle, but when their A.C.O.D aka Adult Children of Divorce who will it be more ugly for? Watch first trailer for A.C.O.D

Adam Scott (Parks And Recreation ) stars as Carter a man caught in the middle of his parents (Richard Jenkins & Catherine O’Hara) messy divorce. Things just get worse for Carter when his younger brother Trey (Clark Duke) announces his engagement.

A.C.O.D might not going into new grounds on the subject matter however Stuart Zicherman‘s film looks to have found a nice balance of humour with heart. Whilst we might talk about the negativity of the film’s subject matter this film does have a lighthearted look at something that’s very close to heart to many people worldwide. Adam Scott has always been one of those actors nearly at the stage of a leading man break through film, maybe A.C.O.D might do the trick in his career progress especially as this film has a strong cast behind him.

No word on a UK&Irish release but A.C.O.D looks set for a 4th October USA release. The film also stars Jane Lynch, Amy Poehler, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jessica Alba.
