Adrianne Palicki To Join GI Joe as Lady Jaye?
She might be the sexy face of the failed Wonder Woman TV Show, but Adrianne Palicki hasn’t drowned herself in sorrow and has even found herself a leading role in GI JOE:COBRA STRIKES. Deadline are reporting that the Friday Night Lights actress will play Lady Jaye (whose real name is Alison R) Hart-Burnett, a ranger with multi talent skills in weaponry, as well as the ability to speak several languages!
If there’s truth to this gossip Palicki will be joining other new recruits such as Wayne Johnson (Roadblock), RZA (Blind Master), D.J. Cotrona (Flint), and Elodie Yung (Jinx) along with regulars Channing Tatum (who plays Duke), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), and Byung-hun Lee (Storm Shadow). Deadline are also reporting that Bruce Willis may be joining the cast as the original G.I. Joe, Joe Colton; but like the Paliciki news, it could just be rumours. If it’s not, it will certainly bring the movie some sting, as Paramount see this one as one of their tentpole movies for summer 2012.
