The next marvellous advancement in robotics is AI and it’s here! 20th Century Studios have released some new promos for Gareth Edwards The Creator.

Artificial Intelligence that ‘battle’ with humanity in the real world has already started. It’s slowly becoming embraced in life with websites such as Chat PGT, people with robotic limbs. We can see the advantages, this film looks to show the dark side of things.

The ‘Special Look’ promo, plays like a Trailer, showcasing new footage and the innocence AI will go in the shape of a child Madeleine Yuna Voyles. John David Washington plays the former soldier juggling with his emotions as he tries to find the architect of the AI, whilst grieving his missing wife.

We also have a new clip called ‘Locate the weapon‘ which our ex-soldier (Washington) is instructed to kill the weapon. But who is the weapon? Watch the clip and find out!

The Creator is set amidst a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war…and mankind itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives’ journey across enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory, only to discover the world-ending weapon he’s been instructed to destroy is an AI in the form of a young child (Voyles).

This one also stars Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ralph Ineson, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, and Marc Menchaca. The Creator will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 28th September.
