Everyone’s obscene as Ralph Fiennes points out it’s the whole point and the latest trailer showcases it’s fun in the sun.Mixed with the chaos of your favourite TV soap opera, vicious love triangles, jealous figures but missing one thing Pat Butcher (Que Eastenders theme tune!).Whilst this trailer shows it’s all hus and kisses the last half of the trailer it takes a sinister dark turn for the worse.

A Bigger Splash is a dazzling, sensuous portrait of desire, jealousy and rock ‘n’ roll under the Mediterranean sun. From Luca Guadagnino, the film tells the story of a a high-profile couple(Swinton and Matthias Schoenaerts),a rock star and a filmmaker who decide to go on vacation to a remote Italian island of Pantelleria.When their rest is disrupted by the sudden visit of an old friend and his sexy, yet mysterious daughter (Fiennes and Johnson). Suddenly, what was supposed to be an ideal getaway turns into a whirlwind of jealousy, passion and danger for everyone in the group.

When it comes to arthouse/independent film, there is very few films that get cinephiles excited like mainstream film fans than this one. It doesn’t pigeonhole itself in any particular genre just a group of well known actors going mad in the heat. Its gathered a momentum since its premiere at Venice Film Festival it might provide lovebirds who want a rom with a sadistic twist.
