A Behind The Scenes Look at Gareth Edwards MONSTERS

A new  ‘On Set’ Featurette For Gareth Edwards MONSTERS has been debuted online by Vertigo Films via IGN. The featurette has a short interview with the movies director Gareth Edwards telling us about the movie and how this movie is really a road movie with an sci-fi element on it along with how they involved the local people.

The movie was filmed in  Guatemala, Mexico and  USA and I really appreciate movies of all genres that do involve the local population as extras rather than paid extras (though they do a mighty fine job too). I do hope those countries did and do benefit from this movie.

Monsters willbe released by Vertigo Films on November 12th in UK& Ireland with October 29th in USA (on limited release) but if you have access to VOD, xbox live, Playstation the movie will be available on September 24th.

Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America.

Soon after, new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”…

Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
