300:Rise Of An Empire First Poster And New Image

This Is Sparta! Well the first poster for Noam Murro‘s 300:Rise Of An Empire which shows the 300 sequel storywise and visually  the story continues where it left off.

The visual/design look of the poster certainly shows Frank Miller’s style that Zack Snyder adopted Murro  looks like he’s continuing the style which is a sensible move to keep the momentum going. Some footage was revealed at Cinemacon and the feedback is very stylized  and epic side of the film is been stepped up. Murro has said changes will be seen in the fight scenes which we’re intrigued to see as the battle ground this time  will it mean literally warriors jumping ship?

300:Rise Of An Empire picks up right after the event of the first film with Xerxes the Persian God Like king (Rodrigo Santoro) continues his surge into capturing Greece and takes his fight to the Seas. He leaves his assault in the capable hands of his all conquering female Naval commander Artemesia (Eva Green).Greece’s lifeline is left in the hands of  Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) who attempts to unite his nation and prevent the aggressive Persian gaining a new country under their ever increasing Empire.

If your disappointed that Snyder is not directing whilst he’s directing Man Of Steel he has actually written the script with David Wenham the other returning 300 cast member with Lena Headey, Jack OConnell, with 300:Rise Of An Empire sailing into UK&Irish cinemas  8th August (USA 2nd August). Synopsis

Based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes, and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster “300,” this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.  “300: Rise of an Empire” pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemesia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

Warner Bros. Picture presents and Legendary Pictures presents, a Cruel and Unusual Films/Mark Canton/Gianni Nunnari Production, “300: Rise of an Empire.”   The action adventure stars Sullivan Stapleton (“Gangster Squad”) as Themistokles and Eva Green (“Dark Shadows,” “Casino Royale”) as Artemesia.   Lena Headey reprises her starring role from “300” as the Spartan Queen, Gorgo; Hans Matheson (“Clash of the Titans”) stars as Aeskylos; and Rodrigo Santoro stars again as the Persian King, Xerxes.
