Another episode is here for The Chronicle film podcast . In episode 015 I will review the latest DC superhero movie Blue Beetle and potty mouthed comedy Strays.
First up is DC’s latest superhero film Blue Beetle. The last film before we enter into the James Gunn era, will it be a fiiting ending? Xolo Maridueña stars as Jaime Reyes returning home to Palmeyra City in Mexico, only find themselves no job and threats of eviction. Jaime’s life changes forever when he attends an interview at Kord Industries when he is given a box that has alien technology that will change his life forever.
The second and final review for this episode will be the comedy Strays starring the voices of Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Isla Fisher and Randall Park. We follow Reggie (Ferrell) who loves life and his owner Doug (Will Forte), a lewd, crude dopehead who hates the dog. He loves playing “Fetch & F*ck” which Doug takes the dog on the furthest game of fetch, only for Reggie realising he is now a stray. Street dog Bug (Foxx) takes him under his wing and both along with Hunter (Park), Maggie (Fisher) go on sweet revenge ‘Doggstyle’!
