Watch The Trailer For Indie Comedy S#!%house
To some people University/College life was probably the best times of their lives. In Cooper Raiff’s S#!%house (aka ‘Shithouse‘) it’s some of the loneliest and IFC Films has the Official Trailer to prove it!
The film was originally mean’t to premiere earlier in the year at SXSW Festival which was cancelled. The Jury however decided to take a look at the films that were going to be in competition. Resulting the film earning the he Grand Jury Award and now it’s time for it’s general release. Possibly the passion for this film shone through thank’s to Raiff not just directing the film, he also wrote the script, edited the film and even took the film’s main acting role!
The tells the story of a lonely freshman (Raiff) who has closed himself off to the college world. His life changes in one night when he attends a party at the notorious ‘shithouse’ and falls for sophomore RA (Dylan Gelula).
Lonely college freshman Alex (Cooper Raiff) has closed himself off from his classmates, who all appear to have this whole “college thing” figured out. Home is 1500 miles away and all he can think about is transferring to a school closer to his family. Everything changes one night when Alex takes a leap and attends a party at his campus’ notorious “Shithouse,” where he forges a strong connection with his RA, Maggie (Dylan Gelula). When she ignores him the next day and seems to have forgotten about their amazing night, Alex feels desperate for things to go back to how they were before.
The film co-stars Logan Miller, Amy Landecker, Olivia Welch, Abby Quinn.
There’s no word if and when ‘Shithouse‘ akak S#!%house will get a UK or Irish release. IFC Films are releasing the film in the USA from 16th October on VOD.
