If you want to survive, you live by one rule, never make a sound. In the new second UK Trailer for A Quiet Place, Monsters go on the hunt for noisy people!
John Krasinski‘s horror is growing in stature per new promo. This new full trailer is truly building an atmospheric tone, very tense, very exciting.
Krasinski and his real-life wife Emily Blunt star as a couple who live a secluded life in the country. They are parents to two kids (played by Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe) living what looks like a fairly content life. A life in silence to avoid the mysterious creature who hunt them when they make noise.
Hats off to Paramount Pictures who have delivered another trailer to get us really excited about this movie. They once again tease us with every whim, revealing little bits to get us interested but not spoiling anything.
We do learn a few more things by watching this trailer. It’s a ‘post-invasion’, we know this from the ‘War Room’ we see Blunt is surrounded by TVs and clues of the invasion. But is it a room they find elsewhere or their own? Which we can guess they are a prepper family. Are the hunters human as the kids don’t seem to be as paranoid as the parents? Or is one or both the kids’ deaf?
Amazingly at the end of the trailer, Emily Blunt character speaks. She speaks of protecting them, we assume the kids. We learn also she is also pregnant which takes us back to the possible human or monster hunters they only want the children. Could this movie be all about families who self-educate, live off the grid and how the government sees them?
Here’s a and slightly longer new Synopsis:
In the modern horror thriller A QUIET PLACE, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival.
If they hear you, they hunt you.
