Live Long And Prosper And Watch Netflix’s Star Trek Discovery UK Trailer

This Autumn Netflix (CBS in the USA) will boldly take us back to the Star Trek Universe with Star Trek Discovery.  50 years after the original TV series aired on Television we find ourselves returning to that universe, ten years before James Tiberius Kirk, Spock, Bones and Scotty. Finally, we know the show has a confirmed release date Netflix has released the first trailer and looks action packed, delivers hope with a lot of familiar races.

The series has found itself with many hurdles to jump over (including 2 delays) and thankfully has a confirmed for this Autumn.The first shows Michelle Yeoh’s Captain Georgiou (Starship Shenzou) might be a mentor to First Officer Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and it’s time for own captaincy. However, they might has just provoked a war, one we heard a lot about during the original series, never seen and now we will!

Set roughly ten years before the events of the original series, Star Trek: Discovery shows a never before seen era that shaped Federation history. First Officer Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) encounters new ships, worlds and villains as the threat of war loom.

Star Trek Discovery debuts this autumn on Netflix in UK & Ireland (CBS in the U.S), the day and month still to be confirmed. What has also changed is the series will now be a whopping 15 episodes instead of the 13 episodes that were originally confirmed. The series will star Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, Shaza Latif, Clare McConnell, Kenneth Mitchell, Maulik Pancholy, Anthony Rapp, Damon Runyan, Terry Serpico, and (Hello to) Jason Isaacs.
