2014 Golden Globes ‘Hustled’ By American Hustle

Last night the big players, made their first move for Oscar glory when the Golden Globes where held with American Hustle, 12 Years A Slave  leading the pack.

Its was David O Russell‘s movie joined by alfonso cauron‘s space drama where the biggest winners on the night scooping up the main awards with American Hustle winning Best Picture (Musical or Comedy), while Amy Adams, victorious in the Best Actress (musical or comedy) with Jennifer Lawrence winning Best Supporting Actress category.

As for 12 Years A Slave it picked up Best Drama movie when the night was falling apart with the biggest shock been Matthew McConaughey pipping Chiwetel Ejiofor for best actor in drama with his performance in Dallas Buyers Club. The female award delivered no surprises with Cate Blanchett picking up the best actress in a Drama for Blue Jasmine.

In the television awards Breaking Bad won the Best TV Drama award with Bryan Cranston winning the best actor in drama.
