I’m really looking forward to Nicholas Winding Refn’s Driveand tempt us even more, 2 exciting clips have appeared online for the movie. This stylish 1970′s inspired thriller tells the story of a Hollywood Stuntman by day, getaway driver for hire at night who finds himself a target of Los Angeles biggest criminals after a botched job looks after a wife and child of a criminal inside finding himself doing what he does best drive!
The clips are entitled ‘Elevator’, ‘I was gonna to call the cops’ both focusing on the relationship between Driver and Irene played by Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. Some of the Peoples Movies team have seen this movie and couldn’t stop praising the movie, its certainly a five star performance, retro, refreshing, stylish and god damn sexy movie that shall not be missed when it comes out September 23rd in UK & Ireland. The movie also stars Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaac, Christina Hendricks and Ron Perlman.
Driver is a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can’t help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene, a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard. After a heist intended to pay off Standard’s protection money spins unpredictably out of control, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals. But when he realizes that the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash in his trunk – that they’re coming straight for Irene and her son – Driver is forced to shift gears and go on offense.
