The Peoples Movies started back in 2008 and later this year we will celebrate our 15th anniversary. I cannot deny those 15 years have been an easy ride, they haven’t but I can say the experience has mostly worth it.
We are not a a major film website who is sponsored by some company who will splash the cash. What money we use comes from our own pockets as we do it because we adore film, television and streaming services.

When I started The Peoples Movies I didn’t do it to make money, it was give give myself a platform to chat about films. However over years things have changed In April 2023 the website nearly ended. All thanks to all the bills we pay every year doubled, however thanks to several people who want the site to exist longer helped out. It was a relief however the site is only safe for another year. We understand every one is in a similar situation and any money you donate will go to paying the bills, even give a little cash to the writers.
