Watch The Gorgeous Trailer For The Sun Is Also A Star

All we have is a single day, could you fall in love and have romance in 24 hours? Step Forward The Sun Is Also A Star tells that story and now we have a gorgeous First Trailer courtesy Warner Bros.

Directed by Ry Russo-Young (Before I Fall), the film is based on the acclaimed Young Adult bestseller by Everything,Everything author Nicola Yoon. Starring Yara Shahidi as Natasha a Jamaican bound woman who falls in love with Daniel (Charles Melton) Who heading to University. Their love blossoms in one day however Natasha’s life is turned upside down when her faces deportation and challenging her own feelings.

I’ll have to admit, I’ve never heard of the book, what we see below looks impressive especially visually. The story is very simple which to some might be warning signs. But having the simple, stylish approach gives the whole film an unique intimate tone teasing your curiosities…

College-bound romantic Daniel Bae and Jamaica-born pragmatist Natasha Kingsley meet—and fall for each other—over one magical day amidst the fervour and flurry of New York City. Sparks immediately fly between these two strangers, who might never have met had fate not given them a little push. But will fate be enough to take these teens from star-crossed to lucky in love? With just hours left on the clock in what looks to be her last day in the U.S., Natasha is fighting against her family’s deportation as fiercely as she’s fighting her budding feelings for Daniel, who is working just as hard to convince her they are destined to be together.

A modern-day story about finding love against all odds, “The Sun Is Also a Star” explores whether our lives are determined by fate or the random events of the universe.

Co-starring John Leguizamo, The Sun Is Also A Star will be UK and Irish Cinemas from 9th August 2019.
