Godzilla II: King Of The Monsters Trailer 2 Gojira Faces Old Foes

Kaiju beatdown! Next Summer King Gojira will return to our cinema screens with Godzilla 2: King Of The Monsters. After a long wait for the second UK Trailer, Warner Bros Pictures UK oblige. As Godzilla faces not one but three old foes…Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah!!!

By the time this one arrives in cinemas, it will be five years since Gareth Edwards Godzilla. Now Krampus director Michael Dougherty takes over and he’s unleashing the beasts!

Edwards film divided audiences leaving many of us wanting old school action. From the action, we get in this Trailer we may just get that. Basically, we want a ridiculously silly film with our monsters in one big mega smackdown. Destruction, destruction, destruction!!!

The story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

The film stars Millie Bobby Brown (her debut feature film), Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, Zhang Ziyi and Anthony Ramos.

Godzilla 2: King Of The Monsters now has the confirmed UK and Irish cinema release date and that date is 31st May 2019 (same date as the U.S).
