3 Hands Are Better Than 2?!New UK TOTAL RECALL Trailer Is Action Packed
Nothing better than a mind trip though for the right reasons but could that dream be having 3 hands? Step forward the new UK TOTAL RECALL Trailer! “Tell us the fantasy, we’ll give you the memory.” Memories are certainly in hand here as the new trailer answers one question, apart from the change of no alien planet the new remake is exactly that. Len Wiseman’s version is near enough carbon copy of Paul Verhoeven’s 1990 classic and they even go as far as paying homage with a naughty but nice reference with a appearance of the 3 breasted alien woman wishing you had those 3 hands. The new trailer does expand on the story with some new footage and finally our first look at villain Cohaagen played by Bryan Cranston though mostly from a video screen though we knew any way Cranston would be sinister and damn right nasty!
Total Recall does look impressive visually at times a lot like a cross between Blade Runner/Minority Report World with the mood of The Matrix, the film does look to be fast paced hopefully not too fast so we can digest what we’re watching. Despite a decent looking cast I just can’t seem to up my level anticipation for this with the fact Wiseman is director I feel we have another Underworld type film minus the vampire but with an improved cast. Here’s hoping all our doubts will be put to rest when Total Recall 2012 is released in UK&Ireland August 29th. The film stars Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel (Melina), Bill Nighy(Kuato),Kate Beckinsale, Ethan Hawke, Bokeem Woodbine, and Bryan Cranston
