To me personally there’s 2 types of comedy Crude adult style ala Harold And Kumar, American Pie or the intelligent type like The Big Year you wont get Stiffler type characters or even fart jokes its comedy with a brain though don’t be shocked to see a little bit of slapstick for good measure.The Big Year is about 3 bird watchers who try to out do each other in a year long competition to spot the rarest birds around North America. Is it the cannonball Run of bird watching? Or is director David Frankel attempting to create a Woody Allen style for the general masses? With 3 mainstream comedians onboard we do hope the jokes will live up to the reputations when the film is released on December 2nd in UK&Ireland.
