First Clip From The Muppets “Coming With Us”

Been a Child and Growing up in the 1980’s might have not been the most glamorous of decades but one thing I can say is the quality of television especially Kids Tv was far superior to most of the rubbish we have now. Cartoons such as He Man, Battle Of The Planet, Thundercats, Willy Fogg, Ulysses 31 and outside the cartoons we had the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational….The Muppets! Yeahhhh! Jim Henson’s magical puppets have been entertaining childrean and their families for decades and now its the turn of the current generation who seem to be more connected to video games, mobile phones, facebook and wwe. I had a little laugh at boys venting their adolescent anger at the site of Kermit and Co on ‘there’ beloved show’ destroying the reputation of the show…I wonder have anyone has sat these boys down explained everything is fixed for entertainment purposes?!

Anyway back to the real show here those lucky folks across the pond in the USA will get to see the long awaited return of The Muppets back to the big screens and we’ve have brilliant array of great trailers and now its the business end of the American promotion its nearly time to watch the film. Disney via Yahoo have released the films first clip which shows the moment Gary (Jason Segel) surprise’s his friend Walter with an extra ticket to Los Angeles to tour the Muppet Studios.

The Muppets  stars Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, Emily Blunt, Zack Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, and Ricky Gervais with the UK&Irish release February 17th 2012.

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
