The Woman In Black Get’s Its First American (TV) Trailer

When there’s a awards ceremony happening on Spike TV over in States you can garauntee a number of tv trailers to follow and the first to appear online is Daniel Radcliffe’s The Woman In Black.  As its a TV based trailer its only about 60 seconds long but still we enough scares, chills and thrills to get very excited about this horror flick which is been released in UK by Horror Legends Hammer Films along with Momentum Pictures (CBS in USA). After many years in the limelight as the boy wizard Harry Potter alot of expectations have been piled on the young actors back to succeed, we think he’ll do ok he’s young vibrant and willing to listen learn his trade gracefully and when you have Gary Oldman as one of your mentors he wont go wrong!

This trailer was released on Spike TV  website unfortunately its a American site they want to keep it just for American eyes only however thanks to American website Collider have gotten their hands on a youtube version so do enjoy! Check out the cheeky new motion poster released exclusively over at EW ,  once we have the poster here ill update this post.

Based on the classic ghost story, THE WOMAN IN BLACK tells the tale of Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a lawyer who is forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House.Working alone in the old mansion, Kipps begins to uncover the town’s tragic and tortured secrets and his fears escalate when he discovers that local children have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.

Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker all star in this spooktastic film which will arrive in UK&Ireland on February 10th 2012 (USA February 3rd).
