Wes Anderson is finally now a Oscar winning director with Henry Sugar and now he’s made another short! Well more a TV Advert for Montblanc luxury pens and you can watch it below…

To mark a century since this global symbol of writing culture was first introduced in 1924, Montblanc has partnered with the American filmmaker. Who also stars in the 3 minute advert along side Rupert Friend, and Jason Schwartzman. The story follows three colourful characters at the fictional Montblanc Headquarters atop the Mont Blanc mountain, as they introduce the Maison, its story and its most recognized creation.

When you have such historic anniversary you want something truly special, Wes Anderson can give you that. Quirky, colourful, his own unique spin on the world of Montblanc through his inimitable storytelling and unmistakable visual identity. This fun advert ticks all the boxes for Montblanc‘s Meisterstück anniversary.

For 100 years, the Meisterstück has captured millions of stories, passing through the hands of authors, creatives, and everyday writers. It was finally time to make this writing icon the protagonist of the story, but we wanted to do it in a way that was completely unexpected and surprising. That’s why we invited Wes Anderson, one of today’s great storytellers ” explains Vincent Montalescot, Montblanc Chief Marketing Officer.

Regardless if these gorgeous pens might not be within our financial limits, just got to love Wes Anderson!
