Watch New Trailer For The Man Who Fell To Earth TV Series

A new Trailer for the sci-fi series The Man Who Fell To Earth has arrived online.
The series is based off the cult 1976 sci-fi film of the same name directed by Nicolas Roeg and starring David Bowie in his first major role onscreen. This series stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris and Bill Nighy.
The film always seems to appear in those great films lists, so the idea of TV/streaming series might surprise many, though no surprise. Looking at what we know from this series it’s still inspired by the Walter Tevis novel, Ejiofor’s character is different from the film. Nighy will play that character Thomas Jerome Newton who summons Faraday (Ejiofor)to Earth. Our little planet is in danger and Faraday is at first unaware the reason why he is here. His first contact is with Justin Falls (Harris), an engineer/Scientist who helps him. When both meet Newton, they finally learn why he’s on Earth.
Just like any loved film or series, this series will have fans treading with caution. Having this more an continuation of the film is a smart idea. With Earth also in danger, it’s a reminder in reality the environment is fragile, needs help. Looks an interesting series…
The Man Who Fell To Earth follows a new alien character who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future.
The series also stars Jimmi Simpson, Rob Delaney, Sonya Cassidy, Joana Ribeiro, Annelle Olaleye, Kate Mulgrew, and Clarke Peters.
Not much is known exactly when and which channel which will air The Man Who Fell To Earth will be shown in the UK and Ireland. The above Trailer is for the U.S TV, and the series will stream on Showtime from 24th April.
