Tonight, Leicester Square, London plays host to the European premiere of Christopher Nolan’s hugely anticipated The Dark Knight Rises. The stars from the film along with director will be in town and you can enjoy every minute of the red carpet here at The Peoples Movies with the live stream below.

Friday is when the we can all see for ourselves the final chapter for The Caped Crusader and for Christopher Nolan and the cast when The Legend Ends. From the camp  version of  Tim Burton’s 1990’s Batman to the more black heart grittier realism of Christopher Nolan’s 21st Century Batman more closer to the modern day comic book version Nolan has brought DC’s crime fighting millionaire superhero into the hearts of many cinephiles who would have never stepped into a cinema screen which screened a comic book film.

All Those confirmed to attend the Leicester Square premier include Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Liam Neeson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Director Christopher Nolan. 

Will it be third time lucky for Christopher Nolan? Will the caped crusader go out with a bang? All will be revealed this Friday 20th July when the film will be released. Today we caught the film at IMAX in London southbank, stay tuned for Harry’s review.

Synopsis | Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive.  Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good.  For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda.  Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile.  But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
