Who needs Halloween when you have Friday the Thirteenth to scare the heevie jeevies out of you? As that old friend terror will return to haunt The Lamberts, hide behind the sofa and watch the new UK trailer for Insidious: Chapter 2!

What better time to reveal the new trailer than the week leading up to the UK release of The Conjuring a film that’s proven back to basics to provide scares that are genuinely terrifying. If you thought  Insidious: Chapter 2  American trailer was scary just wait to you watch this one as the terror levels in this one are sky high!

Insidious: Chapter 2 sees us revisit The Lamberts  just after the events of Insidious Josh (Patrick Wilson), Renai (Rose Byrne) move up sticks and move into Josh mum’s house (Barbara Hershey). However just when things look like their looking good once more for the family, the torment begins once again which forces Josh to confront his past forcing them to travel once again into The Further.

The new trailer provides plenty of new footage plenty of scares from their old friend terror with glimpses into Josh’s past revealing many more nasty ghosts, demons and nasty spirits. Wan promised a more different direction from the first film and you can clearly see the difference more in line with The Shining  but still opening many doors into possibly a persons consciousnesses, their state of mind opening up for an intriguing third film possibility. Don’t shart yourself just enjoy the UK trailer!

The Conjuring will be released in UK&Ireland this Friday 2nd August (read our reviews Here and Here) with Insidious: Chapter 2 arriving in the UK on Friday 13th September. The film also co-stars Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannel.
